If you have any additional questions please Get In Touch with us here.

How does the HUB Work?

The HUB offers two distinct program streams to align with your funding and help you achieve your goals.

Skill Hub

The SKILL HUB provides ten-week, outcome-focused programs aimed at assisting participants in identifying and working towards their goals throughout the term.

These programs are customized to meet each participant’s unique needs, strengths, and abilities, focusing on skill development while ensuring a fun experience.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own support workers for these skill development programs.

The SKILL HUB features a range of engaging programs, including Sound Explorers (Music), Beyond Boundaries VR (Virtual Reality), and Farm programs. Discover more here

Hub Club

The HUB CLUB is a day program operating four days a week (Monday to Thursday) from 9 am to 3 pm at The HUB.

This program offers a variety of activities throughout the week, organized into a planned schedule so participants can easily see their options. Activities include life skills, cooking, music, social outings, farm experiences, and more. Discover more here

Participants can attend full days or half days, or combine HUB CLUB days with SKILL HUB activities for part of the day.

Support will be provided by The HUB staff during HUB CLUB, so participants do not need to bring their own support workers.

What about Exursions?

The HUB offers a variety of excursions, events and workshops throughout the year!

These programs will be advertised on our website, on Facebook, and Instagram. Additionally, you can register to receive our fortnightly newsletter straight to your inbox that will keep you updated about everything that is going on at the HUB.

The HUB is always open to ideas and suggestions about excurions, workshops and events to attend. So feel free to get in touch and let us know what you would like to see, or where you would like to go! We will do our best to make something happen.

All excursions will incur some fees for tickets and transportation.

Excursions will not require you to bring our own support worker as you can be supported by HUB staff during these programs.

How does the HUB work with my NDIS Funding?

The HUB collaborates with NDIS participants to maximize the benefits of their NDIS plans.

Our SKILL HUB focuses on skill development and can utilize funds from your Capacity Building Support Budget for skill development, learning, and social/community participation.

Participants will need to bring their own support worker for these programs.

In contrast, our HUB CLUB day program can draw from your Core Support Budget to fund supports, including assistance with social/community participation and daily living.

No support worker is needed for this program, as our friendly staff at The HUB will provide the necessary support.
